Killed By Malaise was a Screamo band from Saarbrücken, Saarland, Germany.
They existed from 2001 - 2003 and they released a split 7" with danse macabre on totenschiff records as well as a lp on totenschiff, meudiademorte and my237 records. the lp contains the song from the split 7" in another version plus four songs from this recording session made in august 2002. on the flipside are five older tracks, recorded in october 2001 (the song "eigenleben" appeared on the monocore recordings 10" sampler called "how to destroy yourself").
people did always tend to call the lp a discography but we truly didn't want to call it that way for a band that just released a split 7". we just wanted to release the other songs because they meant a lot to us and we didn't want to "waste" them.
People went on to play in bands such as Louise Cyphre, Patterns, Silver Salts, Empire Cheese and Epilogue.
