Heart On My Sleeve

Really amazing & beautiful heartfelt female fronted Screamo with a Melodic Hardcore touch from Stockholm, Sweden.
With members from another amazing and pretty beautiful Screamo/Emo Bands called: The Hope And The Failure /Followed by 37 Seconds Of Happiness. And I will put the full ep on my blog, when it's released or a day before!

Bio: "Current Release: “Stand-By, We Are Going In For Life” - EP - Out August 1st Past Releases: “Blood Is Not Thicker than Wine” digital EP and split with состояние птиц (both in 2011).  Stockholm based screamo quintet Heart on My Sleeve is only a year and a half old but things are already starting to move. The band features members from former acts such as The Hope and the Failure and Followed by 37 Seconds of Happiness. With their emotional lyrics and melodic yet classic screamo sound it didn’t take long before they created a buzz in the screamo community and gained a true hardcore fan base with dedicated followers from all over the world. The female fronted band began their journey in late 2010 and has since recorded two four song digital EP´s and one digital split with the Russian post-hardcore project состояние птиц.  Heart on My Sleeve is characterized by its melodic structure, epic harmonies and emotive screams. Be sure to keep a look out for future releases as the band is in process of putting out freshly recorded material."

Dispensing Of False Halos + Calling Gina Clark

Hailing from Des Moines, Iowa, US and they exist from 2001 - 2004.
Members went later to and formed: Battlefields and Too Pure To Die.
Bio: "From their inception dating back to Feb. of 01 Dispensing of False Halos was on announced to be one of the Midwest hardest working bands. Formed from members of key Iowa hardcore bands In Loving Memory and Eclipse of Eden, they were already a rumored band of many things. The music was said to be(taken from actual review) too metal for the screamo kids and to screamo for the metal kids. That was probably one of the ideas that got in the way of this band furthering themselves into the next league of bands. There were plenty of kids across the nation and spreading into Europe, Canada and Latin America that where in search of everything Dispensing of False Halos had to offer requesting shows, interviews and releases. They had released a number of demo version cdrs that later made their way to vinyl. Also released was a full length CD, split 7 w/ Calling Gina Clark and a CD compiled of unreleased and vinyl tracks. One of the hardest things any band can run into is touring more than they have a chance to write new material. Frustrated with the idea of this, the band parted ways in the summer of 04. While total live performances are uncounted it lies somewhere between 250-300 shows in 38/50 of the U.S."
And in my option was Dispensing Of False Halos one of the best Amazed Emotional Hardcore bands with Metal influences from Iowa and from all around this world! Also come and check them out!
And check the split side w/ Calling Gina Clark( Amazing, chaotic and intense Screamo with technical influences)! They formed in 1999 and are/were from Lübeck, Germany.
And the first show took place in their hometown, together with Massachusetts metalheads The Year Of Our Lord. A 5 song demotape was recorded and got quite good reviews everywhere. HeartattaCk wrote “Calling Gina Clark plays spastic hardcore that falls somewhere between Reversal Of Man and Morser. Fast and chaotic with crushing breaks, off-time phrasing and agonizing vocals” and over 250 copies of this tape were sold all over the world. And now you can find members in A Fine Boat, That Coffin! Check check check!
